Originally established in 1976, The Porsche Museum started small and displayed more quality than quantity. However, work on expanding this museum began in 2003. Sprawled across 5600 square meters (60278 square feet), the spectacular Porsche Museum is housed in the striking white building that appears to levitate. It features more than 80 vehicles, from prototypes to boats and of course, sports cars. A must-visit for all automobile enthusiasts, the museum is also the starting point of the factory tour.

The Theaterhaus Stuttgart is one of Europe's most innovative cultural projects, a new type of theatrical institution whose beacon shines out far beyond the city boundaries. The Mercedes-Benz Arena was formerly known as many names such as: Century Stadium, Kampfbahn, Neckarstadion, and Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion. The stadium was built by German architect Paul Bonatz and can hold a crowd of more than 60,000. The arena is a major soccer venue in the city and is home to Vfb Stuttgart (a Bundesliga Team). The headquarters, factory and museum of the Mercedes brand is near the stadium.

Die Staatstheater Stuttgart is a theater that consists of different branches that include the Opera Stuttgart, Stuttgart Ballet, and Stuttgart Drama Theatre. The theater is notable for its royal design by Munich architect Max Littman, and was constructed between 1909 and 1912. The Opera House is one of the few opera houses to survive the bombing of World War II, a miraculous feat given that much of the city was leveled. After extensive renovations, the opera house was restored to its former glory. Its magnificent Greek inspired sandstone facade gleams under the tangerine sunsets of Stuttgart.
