Home to the Tampa Bay Rays since 1996, Tropicana Field was built in 1986 and has hosted Davis Cup tennis, arena football, basketball, and concerts featuring some renowned musicians. It seats more than 45000 people for baseball and features "entertainment streets" with food, a kids' play area, a bank and a rotunda resembling Brooklyn's Ebbets Field. Tours of the facility are also available on prior request.

Raymond James Stadium is the home of the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the University of South Florida Bull's football team, and also the venue of Super Bowl XXXV and XLIII. It holds concerts and special events too. In 2002 the stadium was rated NFL's best playing field. Every New Year's the stadium hosts the Outback Bowl.
