Established in 1949, Ralph Stocker Stadium is a football stadium which also includes a track and field circuit. Belonging to the city of Grand Junction, it is the home ground of Colorado Mesa University Mavericks football and hosts a number of minor league games as well as other local sporting tournaments. Post its renovation in 2011, Ralph Stocker Stadium is furnished with restrooms and concession areas, terraced bullpens in the outfield, a novel press box and broadcast booth, family seating sections, a handicap accessible area and boasts an unparalleled view of the field no matter where you are seated.
The Museum of the West showcases 1000 years of the rich history of West Colorado. The replicas of a vintage rail coach, a Cessna aircraft and the town of Grand Junction as well as historic artifacts, pottery, and various other objects have been displayed here.
