Montgomery County Fairgrounds

Located less than 50 miles from Baltimore, and run by a non-profit organization, the Montgomery County Fairgrounds were set up in 1949 with just 12 buildings but now have 42 buildings. Originally agricultural shows used to be held here where farmers brought forth their best livestock and produce however, in recent years, a number of trade shows, art & craft festivals and private banquets have been held. Thousands of volunteers are hired to manage each event and look into details like house-keeping, security, administration, parking, catering etc.
