Galway Golf Club

Overlooking Galway Bay, Galway Golf Club is much admired by the discerning golfer. The renowned Dr. MacKenzie designed this golf course and the club itself is over 100 years old. The course plan is ingenious, with four holes on the sheltered inland section and fourteen holes on the challenging seaward section of the golf course. The novice can avail of tuition from the distinguished Don Wallace, who is well known in golfing circles. As this is a very popular club, Tuesdays and Sundays are usually booked in advance, and Saturdays too are subject to availability. Early booking is advisable on other days.
