Mikado is known for delighting its patrons with delicious sushi and has quite a few outlets in various neighborhoods of Geneva. The seating at the restaurant is quite spacious as compared to other similar restaurants. You can take your order to-go as they serve in plastic boxes, or you can enjoy your meal in the cozy setting of the restaurant. Sashimi and Miso soup come highly recommended.
La Maison D'asie is located a couple of minutes away from the main railway station. The restaurant serves fresh and delicious Vietnamese specials. The place is usually crowded during the lunch hours and mostly patronized by locals. Their Pho, pork ribs, summer rolls, poulet aigre-doux, and beef with onion rice come highly recommended. Their servings are quite generous and prices are reasonable.
Located in the left bank, Au Pied de Cochon is a very famous restaurant with the locals for its namesake, pied de cochon (pig foot). Serving excellent Lyonnais fare, the restaurant delights with its pleasant atmosphere. The decor has its own charm with subtle lighting, tables clothed in white, ample wood and a zinc bar. Delicacies like garlicky snails, tender alpine lamb, andouillette sausages and tripe are on the menu along with a fine choice of alcoholic beverage. For a hearty bite of the Lyonnaise cuisine in a fin de siècle setting, Au Pied de Cochon is highly recommended.

Restaurant Awash has a wide menu and offers a large selection of vegetarian dishes. On Fridays, performances of Ethiopian dancing and music take place. Ethiopian cuisine is known for being spicy and Awash sticks to the traditions, so weak stomachs, beware!
