Waterfoot is home to several tourist attractions. The Glenariff Forest Park is in close proximity to Waterfoot and is famous for its scenic beauty and waterfalls. On Garron Road, the White Arch contains ruins of an erstwhile rail bridge of the Glenariff Iron Ore and Harbor Company. Waterfoot was in news in 2010 when one from Troubles, assumed to be 'disappeared', was found here buried on Antrim Beach on November 2nd, 2010.
