Black Sheep Bistro

Passionate about wines and set out with a goal to make a mark in the hospitality industry, Prahlad Sukhtankar and Sabreen started the Black Sheep Bistro in Goa. Bringing an international menu with locally inspired ingredients to the city, this duo created the perfect place to enjoy enticing food in a casual ambiance. With an interesting menu and extensive beverage list, this bistro has become one of the favorite hangout spots of the locals and tourists alike.

Britto's

As you drive along the road from Calangute to Baga, you will come across a huge signboard welcoming you to Britto's; a prodigy of sorts in Goa's culinary scene. Built to resemble a beach shack, Britto's is where you would want to head for some authentic Goan cuisine. The extensive menu features spicy Goan dishes like pork vindalo, chicken cafreal and mutton xacuti. For those who don't like it spicy, there is always the steak menu and a sea food platter which are rather interesting. Diners can top it all with traditional Goan sweets like Bibinca and Dodol. The restaurant is divided into two sections, one of which faces the beach and offers stunning views of the Baga Beach. A live band plays here on Thursdays and Saturdays, much to the delight of the happy diners. The owner Cajetan Britto is very affectionate and makes good recommendations to those unfamiliar with the nuances of Goan cooking. Britto's is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Cape Town Cafe

Cape Town Café is so much more than just a nightclub. One of the few places, which actually give more importance to food and ambiance than just the music, this place serves up some delicious dishes along with quality music and a good crowd. There is a dance area and a separate space for private parties where you can book the entire section. They have craft cocktails on the menu and a good list of beers as well.

Tito's

Located a few minutes from Baga Beach, Tito's is the place for every aspiring scenester to be spotted. Each day a different theme awaits clubbers when an eclectic mix of crowd comes to party here. The huge dance floor attracts local students, young working professionals, and European backpackers, who come here to dance into the early hours. It is also a good place to spend your weekend if you love music and making new friends. This dance club has proudly hosted a number of illustrious international acts and will continue to do so, going by its soaring international popularity.

The Mango Tree

Popular with European and Israeli backpackers due to its location in offbeat Vagator, the Mango Tree Bar and Restaurant is renowned for its succulent seafood preparations as well as Chinese, Continental and North Indian fare. The bartender does a neat job with cocktail preparations that are nicely presented by the ever smiling wait staff. St. Anthony's

Considered by many to be the first restaurant in Baga. St. Anthony's is a marvelous place to head to for an appetizing Goan meal, prepared from the choicest spices. The menu also boasts an equally tantalizing blend of cuisines like Indian, Chinese and Continental. The decor is simple with lounge cane chairs and low tables typically setting the ambiance, while waiters complete the beach side theme by moving around in Hawaiian shirts. St. Anthony's also has an open bar which serves only the finest liquor and the very famous Feni, a local alcoholic drink made from cashews.
