Jose's Wreck

"Sunken tug boat"

When sunk, this 40-foot tugboat landed on two coral heads, allowing divers to explore beneath the hull. Scuba enthusiasts and lobster and crab hunters love to frequent Jose's Wreck. Crustaceans and marine life of all types flock here to feed from the coral reef. In the cooler months, schools of tiger sharks and groupers frequent the vicinity. The wreck is ideal for a quick dive to its proximity to Port Lucaya. Contact UNEXSO or the tourism board for additional information.
