For pudding, sweeten things up with toppings including pecan nut, chocolate mousse and ice-cream. The restaurant does brunch and lunch deals as well as take away coffee and shakes.

The décor is varied dark and light wood panels on the walls, highly lacquered tables with brown leather chairs, and tiled and carpeted areas. Starbucks coffee is acrid, a little bitter. That being said, what they do with it once it is prepared is not rivaled anywhere in Norwich for sure: Its iced frapuccino drinks are a brilliant pick-me-up for a summer's day, while the Venti size is made for true caffeine addicts. Starbucks' pastries have a texture you can't quite find anywhere else - fresh and flavorsome, yet still delicately flaky. Smaller Norwich branch at 10 London Street.

Despite taking on a host of excellent Chinese take-aways in the Golden Triangle area, the Cantonese Kitchen more than holds its own thanks to a few very special dishes.
