Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church
"History of faith"
Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church was built in 1872 and is a historical structure in Ham Lake. The need for a cemetery by the Magnuson family for the burial of their daughters lead to its construction. Back then, there were no pastors in the locality and therefore, pastors had to be picked up and dropped back to Anoka whenever there was a service to be held in the church. Now, its usage is limited, yet the church has an important part in history.
