It is maintained by the HEW (Hamburgische Electrictiätswerke - Hamburg Electricity Works) and shows the truly electrifying history of electricity. There are a lot of historical documents and machines to look at. The many models also help to explain how all the complicated inventions work, from the simple principle of the dynamo and the first receivers of sound waves, to the modern personal computer found in every office.
