Established in 1825 as a stage coach stop, the Log Inn is a historic restaurant that is steeped in intriguing history. One of the oldest of its kind in the country, it once played host to Abraham Lincoln when he stopped here in 1844 while he was on his way back home from a campaign tour in Evansville. Today, patrons can dine in the same room that Lincoln visited back in the 19th Century while learning more about the history and heritage of the place. An iconic family-style diner, the Log Inn features an elaborate menu that includes classic American grub like salads, sandwiches, vegetables and meats.
