Francis Ford Coppola Winery

The Francis Ford Coppola Winery located in Geyserville just north of Healdsburg is much more than just a winery. While they do, of course have a vineyard and produce their own wine, along with daily tours, the Coppola Winery offers many more services perfect for the whole family, even the kids. The Winery features two swimming pools, connected buy a water bridge with jets of water shooting over it, and private cabines and lounge chairs surrounding the pool. Other entertainment options include the winery's bocce ball court and a whole library of games, all of which are free to use. The winery also features a restaurant - RUSTIC, Francis's Favorites and Pool Cafe, a movie museum (it is a Coppola winery, after all) and a "Godfather" inspired pavilion which hosts private events as well as concerts.

Museum of Sonoma County

The Museums of Sonoma County, located in downtown Santa Rosa, consists of two museums, and together they stand in appreciation to Sonoma County's unique history, art and culture. The museums have over 25,000 exhibits of regional artistic and historic articles like wooden furniture, paintings, ceramics, documents, photographs and much more. The museums host a number of programs for children and families to educate them on art and local history. Tours are conducted to some of the area's historic sites. You can also visit the museums' shop where there is a large selection of creations from local artists.

Charles M. Schulz Museum

If you love Peanuts (the comic strip), this is your paradise. From Schulz's original works to his witty quotes, you will find it all. Designed by David Robinson, the museum reflects Schulz's personality and style - modest, low key and comfortable. The area covers 27,384 square feet (8346.6 square meters) with permanent and temporary galleries, a 100-seat auditorium, classroom space and outdoor gardens and exhibits.

Luther Burbank Home & Gardens

Luther Burbank Home and Gardens was the abode of American horticulturist, Luther Burbank. This historical landmark can be explored by the visitors and variety of tours are on offer. His gardens, the museum and greenhouse are a must-visit for all who are interested in horticulture.
