Designed by Jan Hoogstad, Rabotheater Hengelo opened its doors in 2001. This modern theater comprises of three halls - Eatonzaal (880 seats), Eijsinkzaal (327 seats) and the movie hall, Asitozaal which can seat up to 88 people. Spread across four floors, it also has seven foyers and a lounge for various events. There is a brasserie on-site for refreshments. They also offer guided tours of the premises. This theater hosts festivals, dance, opera, concerts, musicals, theater, movie screenings, cabaret, ballet and monologues.
