"Historic Bridge"

Built in the year 1903, Connel Bridge was constructed by Bridge and Roof Company of Arrol. Initially, this cantilever viaduct was meant to ferry Callander and Oban Railway's Ballachulish network. A few years later, a new roadway was constructed which ran parallel to the rail line. Connel Bridge is seen in the Donald Sutherland-starrer Eye of the Needle, which released in the year 1981.
