Highland Folk Museum

Reckoned as the foremost open-air museum of Britain, the Highland Folk Museum is a fascinating spot for history buffs and culture enthusiasts. Opened for public viewing in 1944, the museum attempts to re-create ancient culture and the old-school way of living as witnessed in the Highlands. The museum comprises reconstructed buildings from the 18th Century, a township belonging to the 1700's, a working farm and various archives and photographs. The museum holds systematic collections of various artifacts that retell the stirring history of the land. Right from agricultural elements, domestic life, crafts, trades and the lives and times of the region’s inhabitants, the wholesome artefacts of the museum chronicle multiple facets.

Claggan Park

Claggan Park is a football stadium located in the quiet and charming outskirts of Fort William. It is located on the foothills of Ben Nevis, the highest point in the UK and is considered to be the most scenic football ground. Nestled in the majestic mountains, it is the home turf of the Fort William Football Club. Games played here are usually a small affair attracting only the loyalists. The highest attendance recorded here was during the 1986 Scottish Cup.

Talla Nan Ross

Amidst the tranquil streets and stone made cottage buildings, Talla Nan Ross is an event venue ideal for a variety of events. Originally a church dedicated to St.Andrews, it was renovated in 2004 and converted into a meeting and events space. Divided into the main hall, a foyer and a small meeting room, intimate to comparatively large scale private events can be hosted with ease here. The venue is equipped with a catering kitchen and a storage space for convenience of the guests.
