Inaugurated in August 1977, Aussichtsturm Rodlas was designed by structural engineer Hans Kohl and architect Xaver Steinkirchner. A concrete tower surrounded by numerous hiking trails, the viewing platform provides panoramic views of Upper Palatinate mountains, Bavarian Forest and Rauher Kulm.
