Lost Lake

The Lost Lake at the Mount Hood National Forest is unlike any other lake you know. The lake gets converted to a meadow during every dry period of the year because of the water getting sucked underground. On the bottom of this lake are two volcanic tubes, through which the water constantly gets drained. During winter the lake is full, because of the input being more than the water being drained.
