Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area

The Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area stretches between the Sandy River and the Deschutes River, carving out stunning natural landscapes along its way. In 1906, this sure beat sitting on horseback for three days to get to the mountain. Now it beats battling other drivers on the route between Portland and Mount Hood. Scenic views of our local mountain, Mount Adams and the naturally rugged terrain are accented by dinner and themes, such as a train robbery or murder-mystery. The ticket price for the Excursion Train with theme is different for adults, seniors citizens and children. There is restricted disabled access.
