Andy Warhol Museum of Modern Art is a homage to its eccentric namesake art legend. Located in a little known town of Medzilaborce nicknamed "Warhol City", the museum is second to its Pittsburg counterpart in terms of Warhol’s art collection. Established in 1991, it also features artworks from his brother Paul and son James. The permanent exhibits have 160 of Andy's works including drawings, screen prints and artefacts. Located in a former communist cultural center it also highlights works of modern Slovak and foreign artists.
