Necrópolis Púnica del Puig des Molins

Next to the Puig des Molins Monographic Museum, right in the center of Ibiza city, this huge necropolis dating from the Punic era can be found. It is one of the biggest and best preserved necropolises in the Mediterranean area, and its 50,000 square meters contain 3500 hypogeums, some of which are visible. One of the hypogeums can be visited, and you can clearly see the funeral rites of this civilization that was an important presence on the island.
