Interlaken Ship Canal

The Interlaken Ship Canal is located in the Swiss canton of Bern. It is 2.75 kilometers (1.70 miles) long and built around 1890. The canal serves the Interlaken town and connects with the Interlaken West Railway Station and runs parallel to the Aar River. BLS AG runs regular passenger ships across Lake Thun and Lake Breinz over the Aar River. Lake Breinz passenger ships connect over the Interlaken Ship Canal to Interlaken Ost Railway Station.
