"Striking Architecture"

Effectively renovated and restored in the year 1953, the ancient Rum Mehmed Pasha Mosque portrays a blend of Byzantine and Ottoman architectural styles. It was constructed for Rum Mehmed Pasha, Grand Vizier. Located in the heart of the city of Üsküdar, the mosque’s architecture is simply striking and it consists of a winged hall with two rooms on either side.
