This fun, bustling growers market is host to a live band almost every week during the summer season. If you found getting out of bed on a Sunday morning to be challenging, you will be relieved to find there is usually a booth with coffee, as well as one with hot breakfast burritos. The various growers markets in and around Albuquerque do not have the facilities to take credit cards as payment. However, they have made an impressive, coordinated effort to get healthy food to all in the community by accepting coupons from the Women, Infants and Children low-income health program, Senior checks, and food stamps. Check website for timings and other details.
