The St. Paul's Chapel is an archaic church built in 1865. Constructed in the Carpenter Gothic style of architecture, it has been functional ever since the beginning. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. The pristine white exteriors along with soothing interiors give the church an ancient feel. The Gothic Revival style church was erected in 1849. German Lutheran settlers established this Lutheran church. It also featured in the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 and has an adjoining cemetery.
The Warfield Complex represents the changed attitude towards mental illness and recognition of the need to treat mental illness at a medical facility. It is home to 16 structures that together constitute the historical district. The Warfield Complex, Hubner, and T Buildings was incorporated in the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
The Stone Hall is a historic residential structure that was built in 1783. Constructed in the Federal style of architecture, this beautiful historic home is set on a huge area of 248 acres (100.36 hectares). The property is no longer in use, however it has been preserved well. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 owing to its historic and architectural value.
Glyndon Historic District still retains its Victorian charm since the time it was founded by Dr. Charles A. Leas in 1871. It was promoted more of a summer village and was a hub for affluent families to build their summer homes here. Consisting more of residential houses which were built in the Late Victorian and Colonial Revival styles with two and three floors, the community is closely knit with families that have been living here for four to five generations. The Emory Grove is a Christian retreat and was established in 1868. It is one of the favored destinations of tourists and locals alike here. Some of the interesting places to visit are the Glyndon United Methodist Church, Sacred Heart Church and the Woman’s Club of Glyndon. The town is proud of its lineage and also with the fact that it is the first designated historic locality in Baltimore County.
