The "Flip" is rather famous in Salzburg. Especially in summer the beautiful garden in front of the bar, with a direct view onto the "Anton Neumayr Square" attracts a large number of visitors to the vicinity of the pub. The combination of urban air and alcohol also works in Salzburg, obviously! But the interior of the small place is also very notable. Compact round tables and leather seats just call out for guests to sit down and have a cocktail or two. Alchimiste Belge is a brewery which serves over 70 varieties of beers, such as the Duvel, Hoegaarden. Bourgogne, Orval, Leffe Brune, Delirium Tremens, Chimay Bleu and many more. The ambiance is lively and fun, and the place is quite popular among tourists and locals alike.

Together with the Müllner Bräustübl and the StieglKeller, this is one of the most popular beer gardens in town, especially for those with a penchant for Weissbier (white beer). In the summer months plenty of people drop by for an after-work drink and a bite to eat (goulash with noodles is especially popular). Groups should book in advance, and can even visit the historic "Small Brewery" by appointment.

A series of concerts originally called 'Jazz in the Theater' took place at the Elizabeth Theater, hence the name. In 2002 a venue called Jazzit opened its doors near the main station. Since then it has become the meeting point of the Salzburg jazz scene. Besides concerts with international stars, there are jam sessions taking place every Tuesday.
