Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery is the first distillery to function in Chattanooga after over 100 years. Their vote whiskey campaign received overwhelming support from the locals because of which the state government removed the ban on distilleries and this distillery started its first production in 2015. Visitors over 21 years can take a tour and learn about how whiskies are produced. During the course of the tour the various steps involved in distilling will be explained in brief.. The tasting room and the bar area offer a taste of several whiskeys from the menu and the option to buy a bottle or two of their award-winning blends.
