Seating up to 4500, this venue is a historical landmark as well as an events hall. Originally one of the most extravagant of William Fox's theaters, this facility was privately restored in 1981. Past productions have included Les Misérables, Parsons Dance Company, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. View the wall of famous signatures, the 5,000-pound chandelier in the auditorium and the gilded throne chairs in the lobby. Tours are also available of this magnificent cultural space on select days.
The Duck Room, located in the fabulous Blueberry Hill is a great performing stage. The music covers hip-hop, rock, reggae, country and folk, and apart from the national and local bands that have regular performances, Rock-and-Roll star Chuck Berry is on the playbill once a month. The room has an extensive memorabilia collection featuring the likenesses Elvis Presley, The Simpsons and Howdy Doody that adds a lot of character to the place. This is also a perfect location for private parties as it has a well stocked bar, extensive banquet menu and comfortable seating for around 300 guests. On musical nights, one must be over 21 years of age to enter and cover charges vary as per event. The doors open at 11a daily.
