With a scintillating selection of exotic seafood dishes, along with a few red-meat options, there's plenty to be savored here. Not-to-be-missed are the signature smoked oyster platter, shrimp and bass, while the rib-eye and steak are also well-worth a shot. Apart from great food, Belon is also known for its signature, innovative cocktails and heavenly desserts.
The award winning Lord Stow's Bakery is a local favorite and celebrated by Japanese tourists. Though small, this neighborhood bakery boasts a wide selection of cakes, breads and pastries. On the "worth trying" list is their healthy egg white cake loaf, Portuguese-style egg tart and mud cake. The open-fronted bakery, featuring a floor tiled with small green mosaic tiles, also makes customized foods upon request. Not particularly expensive and definitely worth a try.
