This lovely little ice cream shop sits just across the Mystic drawbridge and has all homemade ice cream. There are plenty of delicious unique flavors, like Vermont maple nut, ginger spice and Kona coffee. Everything is made in their beautiful 19th-century house overlooking the Mystic River.

Sea Swirl has some of the best fried seafood in the area, especially known for their fried clams, scallops, lobster salad rolls, foot-long hot dogs and plenty of New England or Rhode Island chowder. Continuing with the ice cream tradition, Sea Swirl is also great for dessert with its wide variety of soft serve ice cream treats, like, shakes, floats, banana splits, frozen yogurt and flurries.
The Bleu Squid at Olde Mistick Village is a great place to stop for a bite to eat while in the Mystic area.
