Khao Lak–Lam Ru National Park offers a wide variety of natural beauty spread over 125 square kilometers (48 square miles). In addition to the two mountain peaks it takes its name from, the park charms visitors with its scenic beaches, forest trails, and numerous large waterfalls.
The Pak Weep Beach is one of the less crowded and beautiful beaches in Khao Lak. Located within Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, the Ton Chongfa Waterfall is a scenic spot to stop and marvel at Mother Nature. Visitors can climb to the top, enjoy the falls from several different vantage points below, or even hike behind the falls for a truly unique view.
A somber reminder of the 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami, the International Tsunami Museum tells the story of one of the most devastating natural calamities. The visitors can take a look at the detailed displays and video footage of Khao Lak when it was affected during the tragedy. The museum charges a small entry fee which goes towards the charity for Tsunami-afflicted families.

The Royal Thai Navy Third Fleet Sea Turtle Nursery releases over 5,000 turtles into the wild in surrounding areas in efforts to protect the species, while also taking in and caring for injured or sick animals.

A canvas of lush trees, golden sands and a vast expanse of azure waters, the beach is a perfect blend of serenity and flamboyance.
