A heritage spot dating back to 1883, Löwenbräukeller is a landmark which functions as a beer garden and restaurant. Whilst in Munich, Augustiner-Bräu Wagner is definitely a must-visit attraction! Founded in 1328, this ancient brewery is the oldest one in Munich. An independent place, it is known to produce some of the most renowned beer brands. This brewery is shared by the trust of Edith Haberland Wagner and the Inselkammer-Family. Augustiner-Bräustuben, the in-house Beer Garten and Restaurant, is the perfect place to sample some of the fine brews, delicious Bavarian specialties and more. The famous beer festival 'Oktoberfest' is celebrated at the biggest beer gardens here too.

The Benedictine monks had been brewing beer here for centuries, making Bräustüberl Weihenstephan the oldest brewery in the world. The brewery now belongs to the state, but still attracts customers with a selection of Bavarian specialties served in enormous portions. The beer garden offers a great view of the mountains north of Munich. An old law allows you to bring your own food, but there's really no need!
