Costruita originariamente tra il 1555 e il 1561 per commemorare la vittoria di Ivan IV a Kazan, la cattedrale si presentava in pietra bianca con cupole dorate. I colori e i motivi sono stati aggiunti solo nel XVII secolo. Non si sa molto degli architetti di questo maestoso edificio e per un certo periodo la leggenda narrava che Ivan IV avesse fatto accecare il duo per evitare che replicassero il progetto. Originariamente composta da nove cappelle, qualche anno dopo ne fu aggiunta una decima dove si trova la tomba di San Basilio. Sebbene il nome ufficiale sia Cattedrale dell'Intercessione, il nome più conosciuto questo di gioiello storico deriva dal nome del santo omonimo. Oggi la cattedrale di San Basilio è un monumento che attira ogni anno un gran numero di visitatori e suscita stupore in tutti coloro che l’ammirano.

Part of the Rezydent Shopping Centre, Krzywy Domek, also known as Crooked House, is a uniquely designed building. Inspired from illustrations by Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg, the building is designed by the famed Szotynscy & Zaleski. Counted as one of the 50 strangest buildings in the world, the fascinating building attracts curious tourists and locals alike. Fu costruito per la famiglia Milà fra il 1906 ed il 1910. Né la famiglia né il pubblico sono stati colpiti: fu soprannominata La Pedrera (cava da pietra) come insulto. Solo più tardi venne rivalutata nel 1984 quando l'UNESCO la dichiarò un patrimonio dell’umanità. Adesso celebrata per tutto il mondo, Casa Milà è un esempio dell’architettura civile di Gaudí; è interessante ed unica ma anche molto pratica.
