Las Bugambilias is an authentic Mexican, storefront restaurant on South Street. The freshly made regional food is from Mexico City, Puebla, Vera Cruz and the Yucatan region, giving way to an eclectic menu comprising of Crema poblana, sopa de tortilla, guacamole, tacos al pastor, empanadas, chalupitas, seviche, queso Chihuaja Chihuahua (with chorizo), tilapia ajillo, grouper a la Veracruzana, medallon cq del rancho, enchiladas de pavo, cochinita, churros, coconut flan, café de olla and more. Their intricate sauces take hours of prep work and has a lot of ingredients in it to give the traditional flavor. All their soups, sauces and desserts are made with natural ingredients. The decor reflects the 1911 to 1945 Mexico, giving you an entirely different glimpse of a revolutionizing era. The downstairs bar area allows patrons, generally in their mid 20s to late 30s, to enjoy all satellite sports and a selection of over 90 different brews, including 18 beers on draft.
