In the evenings, live bands are on from about 10:30p, but acoustic blues often starts at 9p. On Fridays and Saturdays, an admission fee is charged, but on all other days admission is free. Mojo has a happy hour between 8p and 10p, during which draft beer can be bought for half price. Dancard is accepted.

Café Intime

Café Intime is a treat. Here, in the middle of kitschy souvenirs and a cozy ambiance, they serve reasonably priced drinks. The owner and hostess will most likely sing cabaret tunes that make you think of Weimar Berlin rather than Copenhagen. The majority of the clientele is gay, but everyone is welcome.

This might look like a traditional English pub from the outside, but it isn't; it is Scottish. Kilts, fishing equipment, bagpipes leave you with no doubt. You can choose from 70 different whiskeys, ranging from ordinary Johnny Walker to 25 year-old Bowmore, a single-malt. The clientele consists mostly of 30-somethings drinking McEwans (of course). Live music is played every day.

Masken or the Mask is a cozy hangout for gays and lesbians with a taste for cheap beer and backgammon. The atmosphere is relaxed and the bar is a good place to start off the evening. The location is also convenient, with several bars within short walking distance. Cozy, with subdued lighting, the bar also has good and cheap draught beer.

Cosy Bar

Cozy Bar stays open for the city's vampires. The atmosphere is in line with the red velvet on the walls and furniture; in other words, slightly suggestive. Many regulars can be found at the bar, the majority of whom are gay. However, straight boys and girls have also been known to make their way over here in the early hours of morning. The Australian Bar
