This hotel in its previous incarnations has seen plenty of travelers since it first opened as a Holiday Inn back in the mid-20th Century. The well-known brand then sold the property and it survived as an independent hotel until it was finally transformed into what it is today, a boutique accommodation. Located in the West Side Industrial District, the room design is contemporary, with clean lines, modern fixtures and in fact, many of furniture pieces are Michigan made. The hotel also aims to forge a bond with other community businesses by using bikes from Detroit Bikes, beer from Batch Brewing and coffee from Crazy Fresh. Even if you are not a guest at the hotel, T&P hosts events and parties for all of Detroit as well.
