The Dick King Statue is an equestrian sculpture of Richard Philip King aka Dick King with his horse Somerset, which is made up of bronze. It commemorates King's participation and struggles for when he rode from Durban to Grahamstown in just 10 days during Durban's siege where he helped save Port Natal in 1842.
