The Isaac Lee Patterson Bridge is an iconic monument across the Rouge river, falls on U.S. Route 101. Connecting the towns of Gold Beach and Wedderburn in Oregon, the Bridge was the first Freyssinet method of arch construction, promoted and encouraged by the then governor of Oregon - Isaac Lee Patterson. Thus, the structure is named after him. In 2005, the stunning concrete arch bridge was inscribed on the National Register of Historic Places.
