This course gives you a real scuba diving experience during which you will go out on the dive boat and do 2 dives on our beautiful coral reefs with one of our instructors. You will see uncountable varieties of colorful fish and possibly nurse sharks, reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles, goliath groupers and barracudas. We have no dangerous animals on our reefs, so you can relax and enjoy! The price of this full day adventure includes everything you need for the experience (academics, rental gear, pool training, instructor for the whole day), and at the end of the day your souvenir certificate. All you need is a swimsuit and a towel. Please note that you must be able to swim in order to learn how to scuba dive. You must also be in excellent health.
Nightly entertainment in the Florida Keys comes in shades of crimson, tangerine, and burnt auburn as tropical sunsets are simply a step outside. After a day on the ocean, scuba diving or snorkeling, getting some awesome sunshine or eating our great local cuisine, there is only one way to finish off the perfect day in Key Largo: hop onboard on our our spacious 45-foot catamaran which has a wide open deck with plenty of places to sit, move about, and mingle. Relax where the colorful sun seems close enough to touch. You will depart for this hour and a half sunset cruise from the beautiful Amoray Dive Resort located at the top of Key Largo, only one hour from Miami Airport. We are located on the bay side of the island where the seas are calm and you will have an unobstructed view of the sunset. Enjoy a cruise through the mangroves of the Florida Bay and learn about the interconnected ecosystem and history of the Florida Keys. Mangroves are vital to the health of the reefs, surrounding waters, and underwater wildlife. This is a tour to learn about the unique environment of the Florida Keys and Everglades.
Come join us SCUBA diving some of the most beautiful reefs within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and Pennekamp State Park. We have many different reefs to explore: Molasses, Elbow, French Reef and the famous Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks. These protected areas offer an opportunity to see turtles, spotted eagle rays, moray eels and a variety of different fish. These special reefs are part of the 3rd largest living reef system in the world and the ONLY living coral reef in the US. We stop at two different sites on the reef. The sites are chosen by the captain based on the day's sea conditions. We cannot guarantee any specific sites. IMPORTANT: You MUST be SCUBA certified with recent dive experience for this activity. If you have not been diving in more than one year, you may be required to hire a guide at an additional charge. If you have not been diving in over two years, you will be required to take a refresher course. Single divers may be required to hire a guide.
Intently focused on the spring Tarpon migration in the upper Florida Keys and Everglades National Park. We still enjoy all the other outstanding fishing opportunities thru the rest of the year which ultimately hone our sightcasting and fishing skills.
