Housed in the cellar of the Domaine de Montbenay winery, the Musée du Vigneron features a revelation of ancient viticulture traditions that date back to the Middle Ages. The museum is home to several traditional winemaking devices and exhibits that range from an 18th-century wooden wine press and bottling tools, to sandblasted glasses, ancient carafes, and wine pitchers. Several of these tools are theorized to have been left behind by the monks of Abbaye de Montbenoit, who legend has it, planted one of the very first vines here.
