Located in the heart of downtown Louisville on the ground floor of the 21c Museum Hotel, Proof on Main has captured the hearts, minds and palates of diners throughout the city. Inside the blend is modern and chic, but upon first glance it looks like an ersatz safari scene, with large sculpted faux animals such as tigers and zebras on the walls. The white tablecloths and elegant, light wooden fixtures and chairs only add to the eclectic mix. The food is just as varied, and though most would classify it as New American, the kitchen tries to transcend any compartmentalization or label. And with dishes such as diver scallops on rice grits or traditional Italian campanelle made with local lamb, it's easy to understand why.

They have a fully-stocked bar and meals can be accompanied with a glass of wine or draft beer. All meals served at Bristol Bar & Grille are reasonably priced, making it an ideal place for family dinners, business lunches, hosting parties and events.
This all night diner is appropriately popular among late night crowds, including those getting off the third shift and those leaving after last call. It is noted more for its ambiance (Indian decor, hookahs) than for its food (a mix of classic American and Indian cuisine) but there are several tasty dishes to be had, especially the samosas. The decor walks a fine line between kitschy and decrepit and the servers walk a fine line between aloof and rude. But any way you slice it, there is something here for everyone.
Burger Boy is a local diner that serves excellent diner food all day, every day. They serve a wide assortment of fries, burgers, sandwiches, and beverages. The bison burger and the chili cheese fries are a local favorite. You may have to wait a hot minute for your order because of the small grill and the ever-present rush in the diner, but in the meanwhile, when you take a look around the intimate indoor area you will find an old jukebox in the corner of the room, ready for you to play your favorite songs while you wait. The seating area is rustic and is furnished with classic decor; a large neon sign that says '24 hour' hangs at the entrance, adding to the classic diner-style vibe.
