The 1138-acres (461 hectares) T. O. Fuller State Park is a splendid place for families to visit in Memphis. This state park was named after the African-American leader and educator Thomas O. Fuller. The park is home to the interesting C.H. Nash Museum. It features various archaeological exhibits that were found during the excavations at the Chucalissa Indian Village. An ideal place for big groups and families, it also features tennis, softball and basketball courts, beautiful picnic areas, a swimming pool, campgrounds, and a network of hiking trails.

Seventeen marvelous Victorian homes in this charming neighborhood were restored and preserved in the 1970s. Some of the most significant buildings in this area are the Mallory-Neely House, the Lowenstein-Long House, and the Woodruff-Fontaine House.
