Midred V Jones is named after the community activist as a gesture to honor her works. Located on the edge of NW 2nd street, the park provides a lot of amenities to its visitors such as benches, tables and picnic tables. Since the park has a little pond it can be used for fishing purposes. The pond is aligned with mangrove trees adding to its charm.

The Plantation Heritage Duck Pond is located within the park and is renowned for having the most ancient objects which include a gazebo stone platform and a chimney which were an essential part of Fred C. Peter's kitchen of a summer cottage. Fred Peter was amongst the founders of the plantation. The park has bamboo trees and a small pond where you can spot a few beautiful ducks and even ducklings. The park can be visited for picnicking and recreation on weekends.
