Home of the Vanderbilt Commodores basketball team, Memorial Gymnasium can seat up to 14,316 spectators. It was dedicated as a memorial in honor of the heroes of World War II. The structure combines a gymnasium and a concert hall designed by architect Edwin Keeble. A USD 25 million renovation project added a new practice gym, a three cross-court playing floor, coaching offices, donor room, a Hall of Champions, private suites and a new lighting and sound system.
