The African American Museum of Beginnings has art, artifacts and cultural events that feature and highlight the African arts, culture and civilization from the bygone era. The Pomona gallery displays art and sculpture from various African cultures as well as those from the United States and beyond. Their assemblage features creative exhibits made by the town's preschoolers, apart from some breathtaking art works depicting the heritage, milestones and contemporary issues of the African community spread in different parts of the world.
Overlooking the North Pacific Ocean, Riviera is a clean public beach that is perfect for beach lovers of all ages. Visitors can bask in the Californian sun or play a game of volleyball. This sandy beach is mostly frequented by surfing enthusiasts. Other interesting places in the vicinity include Leslie Park and Calafia Beach Park.
Bonelli Park provides 1,975-acres (799.25 hectares) of recreation in the L.A. exurb of San Dimas, and in addition to its massive size, the park is also home to the famous Raging Waters theme park. There are plenty of activities in the park itself, from kayaking and boating in the Puddingstone Reservoir to horseback riding and golf at the nearby Mountain Meadows Golf Course. Needless to say that everyone can find something under the warm Southern California sun. Some of the other facilities include an RV Park, hot tubs, equestrian area, boat house and plenty of picnic space.
