Located in the township of Montfort-l'Amaury, the Chateau de Groussay is a historic castle, which was established in the 19th Century. In the 20th Century, the structure was purchased by the renowned French art lover Carlos de Beistegui, who along with Emilio Terry, enlarged parts of the castle such as a labyrinth, a Chinese pagoda and an open air tent in the gardens. Filled with ornate pieces of art which are displayed not only inside but across the garden and the veranda, the castle is quite a popular attraction with tourists.
