The Lake View Cemetery is situated in the Sweden Township, in close proximity to Brockport in Monroe County, New York. It was constructed in 1891 and illustrates the Romanesque Revival style of architecture replete with a chapel, a small dew pond and a fountain. It operates from 7:00a to 3:30p daily and is well-managed by the Superintendent of Highways. It is closed for cremation during the winter, although there is a provision for a winter vault. The Highway Department supervises the upkeep of grounds, burial permits in the crematory, lot sales and much more.
