The McMillan is located in historic downtown Flagstaff, inside the oldest building in the district. Built in 1886, the former Wells Fargo bank building has been used for many purposes over the last two centuries, however in its latest incarnation the space is used as a hip, trendy eatery/bar. The food menu has an variety of classics with innovative details, try the Mediterranean Lamb Sliders or the Black Bean Burger. The cocktails are some of the best along this part of Historic Route 66, order the Arizona Mule made with Aylesbury Duck vodka, mint and Bundaberg ginger beer or the Smoked Orange Old Fashioned which uses Dickel No. 12 American Whiskey and house smoked orange bitters, these variations on a theme don't get any better.
Located off West Historic Route 66, Yucca North is a cozy bar in Flagstaff. The menu includes delicious eats like sandwiches, burgers and other pub grub. They also serve an extensive variety of beers, spirits, cocktails and other alcoholic drinks. This dimly-lit pub features a stage that is used to host live music performances. It works like this: first you choose five different wines and then you have three chances to mix the perfect blend. When it's all said and done, you get to take your own customized bottle home. Some of the varietals include Mourvèdre, Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc and even wines made locally in the nearby Verde Valley.
Located in the historic Hotel Monte Vista, the Rendezvous is a spot that serves strong coffee by day and potent cocktails at night. They serve superb Intelligentsia Coffee and, whether you're a guest at the hotel or not, it's always a nice place to stop in for a cup. At night, the bar stocks a large selection of top-shelf liquors and serves great martinis as well. Visit this place for an enjoyable evening of unwinding.
