A recommended place to take children of all ages and interests, the museum is divided into the following sections: Space Captain, Space City Yokohama, Space Gym, Space Laboratory and Space Theater. The exhibits are "hands-on," and the interactive games, videos and planetarium-show provide education as well as great entertainment.
CR21JN Family is a family oriented sento, public bathhouse, and sauna that caters primarily to people in the neighborhood. The interior is traditional with a raised the bandai between the men's and women's bathes. A bandai is traditional raised platform on which the bath attendant sits, collecting sento fees and watching over both dressing rooms and baths. It functions as a combination front desk and lifeguard stand. As one can easily deduce from the name, CR21JN Family is a bathhouse run by the local government. The prices are cheap, the atmosphere is relaxed, the baths are hot, and the sauna is guaranteed to give you a good sweat.
The Konan Community Center and Indoor Pool is a community center that boasts an International Exchange Center, a community activities hall, a sports hall and an indoor swimming pool. The Konan Community Center and Indoor Pool is operated by the Konan ward of the City of Yokohama for the benefit of Japanese citizens who reside in Konan ward, as well as foreign residents. Konan ward is very proud of its International Exchange Center. The center hosts weekly language lessons in Japanese and English. Every week they hold a Hello Gathering where Japanese and foreign residents can mingle and enjoy conversation. The community activities hall hosts a variety of programs on Japanese culture. For schedules of upcoming events call the Konan Community Center. The sports hall holds aerobics classes and hosts a volleyball team. There is also a 25-meter pool that has two lanes for continuous swimming, and four lanes for free play and "resistance walking" for senior citizens fitness. Swimming lessons are also available.
